Despite Iraq's president saying he would hold early elections, large crowds of protesters gathered in central Baghdad once again on Thursday night.
They are fed-up with years of war and political turmoil that has resulted in widespread joblessness and poor services.
More than 200 people have been killed in a month of violent anti-government protests.
